Follow a nature trail to the forestry community of Millet and you will find the Millet Infant School. The school is perched on a hill and is a stone throw away from the community’s river.
In the 1950’s the school was called the Millet Combined School. Due to overcrowding in the 1980’s, a new structure was built in the Venus Community to accommodate more students. The old building was upgraded and renamed the Millet Infant School.
There are presently five classes at the school. The school is also blessed with a Special Education, Physical Education and Music teacher. At the helm is the principal, Mrs Junia Peter who works tirelessly to ensure that the school performs exceedingly well in all areas. She also ensures that students develop holistically and the schools goals are accomplished every academic year.
